Bigotry is denounced , a letter from James Baldwin soliciting money for CORE is printed , with an N.E. endorsement , (though , if you're historical background-less , the use of the term " Negro " and even " colored people " may take you aback a bit) the prosecution & conviction of a Caucasian rapist of a black woman in the South is applauded...Oh , and the reason Jack Parr's hometown was boiling , no 1963 late-in-year parallel-to-us heat wave here , was that the " rich bitches " - actual quote - of Westport , Connecticut were PO'd that a Synanon house had set up in their area instead of their fave " phony charities " , " New York's bedroom " , I assume , must've been where Mr. W.C. lived at that time , but there's no more mention of him beyond that !!!!!!!!!
